Copyright and Content Ownership

Effective 2026-04-26.

1. Ownership

All material on mysovereigntystack.com and in the Sovereignty Stack books, courses, diagrams, journal templates, and software is the intellectual property of JumpUp Learning LDA, except where a third-party work is identified and credited.

This page describes how the material is licensed to subscribers and book buyers, what is permitted, what is prohibited, and how to raise a copyright concern with us.

2. The Sovereignty Stack curriculum

The Sovereignty Stack curriculum is the eight-competency Adult Operating System (Inner Observer, Impulse Modulation, Emotional Modulation, Epistemic Updating, Reality Correspondence, Constraint Subordination, Responsibility Internalization, Strategic Volition), the orientation, the diagnostics engine, the capstone, the weekly lesson sequence, the diagrams, the journal inserts, the AI course assistant system prompts, and the supporting prose. Copyright in this curriculum is held by JumpUp Learning LDA.

3. Books

The book Sovereignty Stack for Young Men is published by JumpUp Learning LDA in three formats: hardcover, softcover, and electronic edition (EPUB). Each format carries its own ISBN.

  • Hardcover: ISBN 978-989-36612-2-2.
  • Softcover: ISBN 978-989-36612-4-6.
  • EPUB: ISBN 978-989-36612-8-4.

Further audience editions of the series ship under separate ISBNs from the same registered block held by JumpUp Learning LDA. The list of assigned and remaining ISBNs is maintained internally and is not published on this page.

4. Personal-use license

When you subscribe to the course, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the course material for the duration of your subscription. When you buy a book, you receive the standard personal-use rights that follow from the purchase of a single copy under the law of your country of residence.

The personal-use license permits the following.

  • Reading and studying the material yourself.
  • Practising the activities yourself.
  • Using the AI course assistant on your own account.
  • Quoting brief passages, with attribution, in private writing or correspondence (the same standard fair-use boundary that applies to any published work).

The personal-use license does not permit the conduct described in the next two sections.

5. Prohibited use

The following uses are prohibited and are treated as a breach of the Terms of Service.

  • No resale. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute any part of the course material, the books, the diagrams, the journal templates, the AI system prompts, or the software.
  • No bulk redistribution. You may not publish the course material on any platform that makes it available to non-subscribers, including paste sites, public file-sharing services, mirror websites, and torrent networks.
  • No automated scraping. You may not crawl, scrape, or download the course material with automated tools at machine speed. Account access is per-person and is paced to a human reader.
  • No circumvention of time-gating. You may not bypass, evade, or assist another person to bypass the time-gating mechanism that paces the release of course sections across the year.
  • No derivative course based on the curriculum. You may not produce a competing course, workbook, or training programme that lifts the structure, sequencing, or substantial expression of the Sovereignty Stack curriculum.

The boundary between fair quotation and bulk redistribution is reasonable and conventional: a paragraph quoted with attribution is fine; a chapter copied to a personal blog is not.

6. Course material gating and personal use

Course material is released in a structured cadence over the twelve months of the subscription. The orientation section is available immediately. The diagnostics section unlocks after orientation completion. The eight competency sections unlock as the year progresses, gated to the recurring billing cadence. The capstone unlocks at the end of the year.

The cadence is part of the design. The personal-use license reaches only the material your account has unlocked. Sharing unlocked material with another person who has not subscribed is a breach of this license and may result in account termination.

7. Subscriber-generated work

You retain the intellectual property in the work you produce inside the course: the notes you save, the journal entries you write, the answers you give to lesson prompts, and the responses you make in coaching sessions. We hold a non-exclusive license to display that work back to you inside your account, to retain it for the operation of the service, and to retain it in anonymised form for aggregate research as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may export your own work at any time through the data-export request procedure on the support page. After your account is deleted, the personal identifiers attached to your work are erased; the anonymised content is retained per the Privacy Policy section 8.

8. Trademarks

"Sovereignty Stack," "Adult Operating System," "The Adult OS," "JumpUp Learning," and the eight competency names as used together as a series are trademarks of JumpUp Learning LDA. You may use the names in editorial reference (for example, in a review of the book or a recommendation to a friend). You may not use the names as the title of a competing product, as the brand of a service that trades on association with us, or as a domain name registered for any commercial purpose without prior written permission.

9. Third-party works

Where the course or the books quote a passage from a third-party work, the passage is identified and credited at the point of use. The classical and pre-modern sources Sovereignty Stack draws on (Greek and Roman texts, Plutarch, Renaissance and frontier-era American writing) are typically out of copyright; modern works are quoted under fair-quotation principles with attribution.

If you believe we have used your work without permission, write to us at the address in section 11.

10. Takedown procedure

The Sovereignty Stack platform hosts only material we publish ourselves and the responses subscribers write inside their own accounts. We do not host user-uploaded video, user-uploaded text feeds, or any other public-facing user-generated content surface.

Even so, we accept copyright-infringement notices through a procedure modeled on the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and adapted for Portuguese law and EU practice.

To file a notice, send an email to copyright@mysovereigntystack.com (or, if that mailbox is not yet active, to support@mysovereigntystack.com with the words "Copyright Notice" in the subject line) containing the following.

  1. Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, with sufficient detail to identify it.
  3. The exact location on mysovereigntystack.com where the infringing material appears (URL or other unambiguous reference).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, by an agent of the copyright owner, or by law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury under the law of the jurisdiction in which you swear it, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond within thirty days. Where the claim is well-founded, we will remove the material and notify the person who placed it. Where the claim appears to be unfounded or in bad faith, we will respond explaining why and may decline to remove the material.

11. Counter-notice

If you receive a takedown notice from us in respect of material you placed and you believe the takedown was made in error, you may file a counter-notice using the same channel. The counter-notice should contain the same elements listed in section 10, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal for any dispute arising from the counter-notice. Where a counter-notice is timely and complete, we may restore the material after ten business days unless the original complainant initiates legal proceedings.

12. Updates

We will update this page when we change our copyright handling. The effective date below tracks the most recent change.
